new series for pre-order.

our dear postman Frederik has some grand news! PS has a new series of correspondence to share which will be launching in early June 2012.

set in the 1940’s and told through the eyes of her grand-daughter, Clémence, it takes up the haunting, unfinished love story of Matildé & Humphrey whom we met in our first series.

inspired by a bundle of secret letters belonging to Matildé unearthed in the family attic, Clémence travels to New York to learn more of this untold story from her grandmother’s past and shares her discoveries through correspondence with her Swedish friend Lilya.

a note from frederik.

dear PS members & guests

our dear & faithful postman, Frederik, has informed me due to popular demand for Vol1/Ch3 of Matildé & Humphrey he has been, well, rather busy indeed.

his bicycle has been dashing all about, delivering postcards to all our new members. however, Frederik is not as young as he once was & his bike is quaint rather than sleek.

so from today any new members to PS will have their delivery of the series slightly delayed until late August to allow him a wee rest.

new memberships are still welcome here in the meantime. we do thank you for your understanding.

yours faithfully

Secretary PS

posting soon.

dear PS members & guests

we were so pleased to see all our members again at our last meeting; it was also lovely to meet those of you considering taking out your own membership to the PS.

indeed it was rather delightful to see you shared our enthusiasm for our newest found story: that of Matildé & Humphrey  whom exchanged correspondence between the United States & France, dating from 1911 to 1913.

as our first posting of the series is scheduled for mid-July, we encourage you to take out your membership at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment in sharing in this intimate, nostalgic story.

memberships accepted here.

yours faithfully

Secretary PS

a cordial invitation for the evening of 2 July 2011

dear PS member

firstly, the warmest of welcomes to our new members.

it is my pleasure to invite you to our third PS evening of the year, to be held at Society House on Saturday 2 July 2011. our dear Frederik, our invaluable postman at the GPO, has informed me he has come across a new bundle of unclaimed mail, postmarked to early last century.

our found story comprises a set of postcards exchanged from the United States & France containing correspondence between a young couple.

please join us for an evening of discovery as we explore this exciting story together.

yours faithfully
